Gift Ordering & Deadlines
A hand-drawn portrait is one of the most personal gifts you can give — but it isn't printed on demand. Because it's made by hand and you approve a proof first, ordering with a little lead time is the difference between relaxed and rushed.
How the timeline adds up
Your portrait is hand-drawn in 7-10 working days after you approve the initial proof, then shipped with 3-5 working days transit across India.
- Order & upload — you place the order and send your photo.
- Creation — your portrait is hand-drawn in 7-10 working days (depending on artist tier).
- Proof & approval — you review a digital proof; 2 free revisions on the proof before final delivery.
- Transit — shipping adds 3-5 working days across India.
As a safe rule of thumb, allow up to about 17 working days end to end, and order earlier for peak periods (festivals, Valentine's, wedding season) when queues are longer.
Ordering for a specific date
- Count back from the gift date and add a few days of buffer — don't aim for the exact deadline.
- Send your best photo up front so there's no back-and-forth (see our photo guide).
- Approve the proof promptly — the clock on transit only starts once you're happy.
- If the date is tight, tell us in the special-instructions box and we'll advise honestly on whether it's achievable.
Shipping & where we deliver
Free delivery across India on orders above ₹1,999 (₹99 flat below that). We accept payments from anywhere, but currently deliver within India only.
